1. Who can attend the art workshops?
Anyone interested is welcome, whatever their previous painting experience. The workshops suit every level of knowledge.
2. Where are the workshops held?
Workshops take place in the Art Workshop studio at Pionirska 1, Poreč. We sometimes run special workshops at other locations and announce them on our website and social media.
3. What materials do I need?
All basic materials are provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own brushes. After you sign up, we’ll send you a detailed list of recommended painting materials.
4. How long does a workshop last?
A workshop usually runs for eight to nine months, meeting once a week for 3 hours.
5. Do I need to sign up in advance?
Yes. Places are limited, so registration is required. You can sign up through the website or by email.
6. Is there a fee?
Yes. The fee covers materials and instruction. Prices are listed on the website, or you can contact us by phone or email.
7. How do I pay the fee?
Payment is by bank transfer. We’ll send you the payment details after you sign up.
8. Can I pay in installments?
Yes. You can pay in two or more installments, depending on the length and price of the workshop. Contact us for details.
9. Which techniques are taught?
Almost every drawing and painting technique, including pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolor and acrylic. Each workshop may focus on one or more of them.
10. Are the workshops suitable for children?
The regular workshops are for adults. We run separate workshops for young people aged 14 to 18.

12. What if I miss a session?
Please let us know as early as possible if you can’t attend. Missed sessions can’t be made up in other groups or workshops.
13. Can I take my work home?
Yes. Everything you create at the workshop is yours to take home.
14. Are workshops available in English?
Yes. If needed, workshops can be held in English or Italian. Please let us know in advance.
15. Do you offer private lessons?
Yes. Private lessons are available if you’d like a more personal approach and more detailed guidance. Contact us for information and scheduling.
16. How far in advance should I sign up?
We recommend signing up at least a month in advance, especially for popular workshops that fill up quickly.
17. What if I have no painting experience at all?
Complete beginners are welcome. The instructor will guide you step by step and help you learn the basic techniques.
18. Are there group discounts?
If you’d like to sign up with friends or family, contact us about group discounts.
19. Are there workshops dedicated to particular painting styles?
Yes. We occasionally run themed workshops on particular styles, such as Impressionism, abstract art or realism. Watch our website and social media for announcements.
20. Can I bring my own references or inspiration?
You’re welcome to bring photos, sketches or anything else that inspires you. That said, the workshops mostly focus on shared artistic problems.
21. Can you organize private workshops for special occasions?
Yes. We organize private workshops for birthdays, team building and other gatherings. Contact us for details and options.
22. Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Refunds are given only in justified cases, such as health reasons or other serious circumstances that prevent you from attending. If this applies to you, please contact us as soon as possible.
23. Is there parking?
Yes. There’s a private car park next to the studio with about ten spaces.
24. Does the space have a toilet, kitchen and air conditioning?
Yes. The workshop has a toilet, a kitchen with a coffee corner and air conditioning, so everyone can stay comfortable.
25. Is the space accessible to people with disabilities?
Unfortunately, the workshop space is not accessible to people with disabilities.
26. Can I bring my pet?
Yes. The workshop is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your dog if it’s calm and cheerful.
27. Is there accommodation nearby?
If you’re coming from further away, we recommend Hotel Poreč, a 4-minute walk from the studio. More information at www.hotelporec.com.
28. How are groups formed?
We form groups by level of knowledge and interests so that they’re balanced and everyone can learn and progress well.
29. Are there weekend or daytime sessions?
Yes. We offer both weekend and daytime sessions to fit different schedules.
30. Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes. An art workshop gift voucher makes a great present for friends and family who love art.
31. Are there online workshops?
Yes. We offer online workshops if you can’t attend in person. See the website for available courses.
32. Do you offer consultations?
Yes. We offer consultations for personal advice and guidance, but only for work created as part of the art workshop. Contact us to book one.
