In the 2023/2024 season, we are thrilled to launch our inaugural program! Join us for an enriching art workshop that focuses on drawing as the foundation of artistic expression and explores various drawing techniques, including pencil, charcoal, ink, and more.
During the workshop, we will delve into the art of drawing using templates and observation. You’ll have the opportunity to explore still life compositions, spatial representation, portrait and figure drawing, with a special emphasis on the essential skill of cross-hatching. Additionally, we will cover the study of hands—a fascinating subject in itself.
But that’s not all! Our workshop goes beyond drawing and also delves into painting exercises using acrylic techniques. We will dive into the world of monochrome painting, tonal variations, and colorist approaches. You will learn the basics of painting technology and gain valuable insights into the art of watercolor as well.
Our experienced instructor will guide and mentor you throughout the workshop, providing valuable feedback and support. He will also introduce you to the theoretical aspects of art language and the fundamentals of painting technology. To enrich your experience, we will include short presentations from renowned artists, offering you diverse perspectives and inspiration.
